The Office Club House building which houses the offices of the owners and employees of the Mobile Home Park have a professional landscaper that handles the gardening for the complex.

I can grow 6 pot plants legally if I get a pain prescription. But, one has to pay $400 for the prescription and I don't like being stoned. As soon as pot is legal, I will grow some just because I think it is pretty. I saw some that was almost blue and phosphorescent.

Jen, You could share the postage w/ other Iris lovers who would like to import from Australia.

Sherry, she did offer to share postage and let me place an order into hers but still seems really pricy then having to pay postage from her to me again. Now so sure I'm sold into that yet. Lol. It's only a matter of time I'm sure. I can be easily swayed

Look at Keith Keppel's catalog; he might some Blyth's which you want.

John planted one of the seedlings returned from convention. They are MTBs or I should say it is a MTB. There is enough slope (but very small) for me to tip over. Too many in a small space but I am looking more for correct ID.

It's been 2 seasons since I last imported from Tempo 2 in Australia. At that time, the money exchange was favorable and the cost for shipping wasn't as high as you mentioned. There is cost involved as the plants need to be phytosanitized and that costs a bit. You also need to get a permit to import plants from the US Dept. of Ag. which is free. As Lucy mentioned, Keith Keppel has many of his introductions in his catalog. His last shipments at that time to the Northern Hemisphere was in April. I had thought I might import some more from him this spring, but then my dog had to go into the vet hospital and at a $1000/day, her four day stay ate up my budget for new irises this year. I did manage to squeeze out enough for a couple orders of new ones though after I sold a horse.

Thanks Tom, I'll have to send for next years catalog from him. I've tried to look at the Internet site to see if he has them but I get no where.

Sorry to hear about your dog by the way, I had to do the same for one with an ACL tear right before Christmas. I won't say I was as lucky with that bill though! So I understand about your budget. Lol. Blew mine too!
