I been trying to grow this plant for 3 yrs now dont know what im doing wrong but i get 2 leaves on it one of them stays green and healthy and the other ends up yellow and falls off any advise what type of plant it is and how to care for it thanks

The yellowing and falling leaves could be caused by over watering and/or bad drainage..?
