Thanks for this photo Arielle. This clears things up a bit. I believe your plant is a Xanthosoma, another potentially massive Elephant Ear. I admit to being a bit envious. I'll move your photo to the Parent plant entry for Elephant Ears (Xanthosoma) (Xanthosoma)

P.S. In general the spathe of most Colocasia blooms is proportionally much longer than the spadix when compared to Xanthosoma.
