I love Dodger Blue and the name. We are a funny bunch and between us we can grow and love every iris in the universe.

Thro' all the tumult and the strife I hear the music ringing; It finds an echo in my soul— How can I keep from singing?

I ordered Dodger Blue even though I like the Kentucky shade of blue better. I think it is a gorgeous flower.

Is there an iris with the Kentucky shade of blue? I cant find many blues that are not 'purple wanting to be blue'.

Speaking of names ... when Extraterrestrial bloomed for the first time, my husband looked at it and said "that iris is other worldly". I laughed and told him the name was Extraterrestrial. He had not know the name when he made his comment. Whoever named it, was spot on
