I am new to plumerias. I just ordered seeds. What is the best way to sprout them?

Mary - I personally put them in vermiculite (wing part up) and mist them daily. There are many other methods.

When did you quit using damp paper towels?

I started mine in a plug tray with seed starting mix. I think I had two that didn't germinate. This is a picture of my seedlings it was taken in the spring they were just coming out of dormancy. I started them two years ago.

That is quite an impressive collection of "seedlings"! Hoping for the best here.

2 years?! I wonder if I have time to start my seeds. I need to live a looooong time to see them become trees!

They actually grow pretty quick if I would have repotted them into a bigger pot sooner they would have been a lot bigger

Was going to say, Heath "you're gonna need some bigger pots". They do grow really fast in the spring/summer weather.

My starts from cuttings (about the size of your biggest seedling) have more than doubled in size since I got them last fall. But you have to take advantage of the warm summer weather to let them grow like crazy. In fact, one of the rooted cuttings I got from Ken is over 4ft. tall now and has already bloomed.

I actually just finished reporting them today. I was hesitant to repot them because I don't have the space to keep them in the winter. So now I have to insulate my storage building and heat it and light it..... Looks like the lawn mower is staying out side all winter

Yep, I turn part of my garage into "Plumeria Storage", building a (temporary) greenhouse that is about 6' W, 10' L, 7' T. I do heat it but use the smallest heater I have since this greenhouse is wrapped in solar blanket material. Since there is some natural light in this greenhouse, I could probably keep the plumeria going through the fall/winter months, though they went last year without a drop of water and were in full dormancy. I may experiment and keep some of them watered and leafed this year.
