Mary Ann, I don't think you mentioned how fabulous that maroon edge is, or made mention of the golden hafts.. wow. Just wow.

I hope you have enough of it to share with all of us next year Hilarious!

Omigosh Jen -- oh jeez -- so sorry.......... Sad

I'm drawing a complete blank -- and can't find any email pertaining. And I didn't make a note on my Trades list, either.

BUT -- Jen's Joy is listed in my database, and it's planted in Nursery Bed #2, spot #35. Whistling

Man -- it is scary when things like this happen -- makes me think Alzheimer's is tapping on my shoulder.

So -- thank you AGAIN (surely I thanked you the first time, right?) And this morning I am going to go out and pay a visit to spot #35 in Nursery Bed #2 -- and give it a little speech of encouragement!! Rolling my eyes.

You're right about that Sherry -- plus it's a luscious color -- and its got horns. And I'm not positive -- but from the picture, it looks like the standards are the same shade of maroon as the band on the falls. And the form is great!! And I love the white area surrounding the beard. And the beard is two-toned. Wow is right!

I hope I have enough to share soon -- but I think you'll probably have to rely on Jen for shares next year -- I'm wanting a clump of this one!!! Green Grin!

Jen -- I went back and checked my tree-mail again -- and found our correspondence this time. I didn't go back far enough the first time. Whistling

NOW I remember!! (that means no Alzheimer's, right???) Big Grin

And I owe you Paul Black next year!

BTW --do you like Space-agers? I've got a beauty, with plenty to share.......
Alien Mist

Eh hem Mary Ann..... Where are my space agers? You know I hate them so...... Rolling on the floor laughing

But I will gladly take some Alien Mist off your hands.... next spring? You aren't still dividing now are you? It's a bit late except for in pots isn't it?

Linnea -- are you saying that you'd like a couple more Alien Mist? Or some other Space-ager?

Lesle -- I am still dividing. For my own purposes (moving Irises from the temp bed next to the garage, to Iris Lane as I clear weeds and build up soil) -- and have been sharing my extras locally. Depending on your climate, and specific bed location -- I don't think it's too late to share. I've planted Irises as late as mid-November here, and had them all settle happily in and bloom in the spring (very mild winter that year). On the other hand -- I've lost Irises that I planted in July and August because of an unusual winter with a freeze/thaw-freeze/thaw pattern that just heaved my rhizomes right out of the soil. So I don't think you can be certain about any of it. Shrug!

I will happily send you Alien Mist right now, or after bloom in the spring -- whichever you prefer. Smiling

Jen's Joy is a beauty! (not asking - no more room for now!) - it should be introduced, if it hasn't been.

No worries Mary Ann! I thought it was humorous. I would love an alien mist but I will have to wait until next year if that's ok. I'm so busy with work I do t want to take a chance of so,ethi gkeepomg me from being able to plant it and then loosing it over the winter.

Thanks Jan. I dont have any plans on introducing it. Just enjoy it in the yard and my friends yards. That makes me happy enough.
