What a breath taking bunch of Oriental.

I've killed a few Casa Blancas too. Miss it. I think this is White Stargazer. Didn't want to climb through the wet weeds to find the marker. Must say the rain has sure done wonders for the weeds. A few places in back are looking like a jungle.

Susan, that white is so smooth and porcelain like, it puts me in mind of OTs. Have you planted any white OTs? I've never grown 'White Stargazer', I'm assuming its an Oriental (although 'Golden Stargazer' is an OT I believe?). It's really lovely!

Neal, from my experience I would say that your observation about Orientals blooming better with their roots in the shade is absolutely on the money.

It's one of those times when my crowded garden is beneficial, LOL.

Salmon Star has very unique coloring, making it really stand out. My sister was just here last night, saying, I need to add another oriental to my deck pots next year. I want it to be that one. She strolled through the yard, and after a hundred lilies in bloom, she still picked that one.

It's lovely. I don't blame you for drooling one bit. Smiling
