DD has a friend who is a mortitian. She brings flowers now and then.
We take the good stuff for the house and keep the containers for the summer deck garden.The papieamachee' is going to house some lilies until I find a place for them.The pots wont decay for a year so I can move bulbs to their best color spot.

Anemones and Tree peony

Got this lily last year, seven of them in bloom, from Marketplace. ID'd only as avocado lily. It is just beautiful, don't know what type, but overwintered great here in Z5.

'Avocado' is an oriental-trumpet (OT) cross. Does it have a fragrance?

Yes! Lovely. Very delicate, but strong. Don't know how to describe it. It wasn't overpowering but they were planted next to my patio and just a very pretty scent when a breeze came up.It was so beautiful that people couldn't resist checking for fragrance. The color of the bloom just seemed to call people over- even more beautiful than in the photo.

Now that I know what it is, I'll post on that thread also.

That lily, and contact w/ Buggy, ended up in a lily bed for me this spring.....and new 'addiction'.

Yep I understand the addiction.In a few weeks my last fall Asiatic mixes from Buggy will bloom.All will be a mystery as to ID.
