I have looked at Stoney Creek's catalog and they have many I would like. I just ordered too many already this year to hit Stoney Creek and Winterberry too.

I have an order in with Winterberry now. So I will know soon. The Lexington iris club recommended them to me. I have not orderd but been to Iris City Gardens and purchased plants there. Awesome place to visit during bloom time.

Most of the places I have ordered from have been wonderful to work with. I was somewhat disappointed last year with Schreiner's. The rhizomes were far too dried out and obviously had been dug a long time before shipment. They all did live however, but not a one bloomed this year. When I can, I like to order from the hybridizer. They do all the work, and it's nice to give them some payback.

Politicians are like diapers, they need to be changed often, and for the same reason.

Tom, if possible, I buy from the hybridizer / introducer, but,for most of the ones I like that's impossible.

Thanks everyone for the input. Next year when it comes time to add any (if budget allows) I will check out a few of the top recommended ones from here. The iris club I would like to join is having a rhizome sale here in a few weeks (Sept 19th and 20th). Their initials spell iris oddly enough.
