I cleaned out my front iris bed this weekend, and after breaking up some clumps, ended up with a large amount of iris that need new homes. These are all iris that have been around awhile, and are all very good growers. Please treemail me if you are interested. I would like to ship them by tomorrow or Wednesday at the latest.

I have the following:

Acoma: Enough for 3 people
Thumb of 2015-08-31/Lestv/a10099

Quaker Lady: Enough for 3 people

Edith Wolford: One nice rhizome
Thumb of 2015-08-31/Lestv/718d3f

Ninja Turtles: One person's worth - 3 rhizomes
Thumb of 2015-08-31/Lestv/9c78c5

Cat's Eye: One person's worth - one mini clump. You can divide into 3 or so plants or plant as is for an instant clump
Thumb of 2015-08-31/Lestv/e95033

I can also ship a larger amount of Quaker Lady or Acoma to one person if they want a large grouping, or if they know someone or some organization that wants a large planting.

I would be interested in some of everything. I'm kind of new to this forum and I'm not entirely sure how it works, so if necessary you can feel free to send me an email at [email protected]. Thanks! Becky

Welcome to ATP Becky! Welcome!

Basically for postage means that the iris get mailed to you in a priority mail box, and you mail a check to cover the amount of the postage. A large priority mail box will cost about $17, depending on where you are located. If that works for you, then you can treemail me (ATP's private messaging system) and give me your address and such. The easiest way to find the treemail is to click on my name (above in blue) which opens my page, then click on "send this person a treemail." Smiling

Well, you will have a box of iris to work with by the weekend. Big Grin If you still need to finish the garden bed for the iris, then keep them in a cool place and you can soak the roots in a bit of water (roots only - don't soak the rhizomes). Then try to get them in pots or the ground as soon as you can. I will treemail you tomorrow with the shipping info.

Welcome! to ATP Nancy, @bisbeegirl. Since this is a public forum, it is not wise to type in personal information as there could be unscrupulous person lurking around. Please go back to your post, click the edit button and remove your address. Then e-mail Leslie by clicking on her name Lestv in one of her posts giving her that info. Also always place personal info in a separate e-mail. You can post on the forum that you are sending an e-mail to them, in this case @Lestv and she will respond to your e-mail.

Welcome! Nancy ! Glad you can join us. One word of caution, however.....it's always best to send your address, and other contact info via the more private, "T-mail', than in the open forum.

Sue -- are you on here? In case she doesn't get back for several hours, can you remove bisbeegirl's address in the post above?
