A trumpet from the stock of Ed McRae, purchased a few years back from the Pacific Northwest Lily Society, affectionately known as PNWLS.

I don't know if it is or not...the markings I have say Ed's Angel Trumpets. Maybe...maybe not. I don't know enough about how angel trumpets look to even know if it is marked right. It did come from Ed though and his trumpet work is phenomenal. And oooops on me...I'm in the wrong place!

Ed's Angel trumpets: diploid, greenish, should be upfacing but I doubt that they culled out seedlings that weren't. From the fall 2007 PNWLS sale.

Now I'm jealous (again). I am trying to hybridize for green trumpets. I made this decision AFTER B&D was selling Emerald Temple, a very green upfacing trumpet. Uh, maybe I need some pollen... Man, my trumpets are nowhere near ready to bloom!!

It's my first one and I liberated the darn thing this spring by yanking out some damaged cedars. I'm glad I did! I have never seen anything that looked that good come out of it.

And my dear...the pollen is yours for the taking...if you'd like some Smiling

I was wondering that too, Diann, if we were still talking about gardening.

Love the frog!

Moby, my goal in life is to get everyone to love beardless irises. Is it working?

Victorian Trim and the froggy both captured my heart too. Laura your garden area with Zeus looks so cool and inviting. I planted a Zeus a couple years ago, but have never seen it bloom. I'm hoping it's just in hiding out there someplace.

I love the way the sun shines through the daylily Niragongo and the lily Starfire. Or it it Firestar? Never can remember.

Here's another shot where you can see the self sown gaillardia that is perfect with them. Wish I could say any of it was planned. Nice when things like that just happen.

Susan, those pics are stunning! Such wonderful combining of plants and colors, superbly done!

Tracey, I love the Lilies arising from fern fronds, especially with your living garden ornament.
