been 'n ' gone,'what a great allover day'...i havnt had a lot of luck lately and today made reality come to life,,.real people who love lilies,who like to listen on how to keep them growing,..,im very sunburned,even though i was under the canopy,.,.a nice quiet beer and i will be off to sleep-anthony

Jo, that is where mine comes from too. I don't always have the room to follow thru tho.

I have had several generous gardeners on the other site where I started in 2007.
People who give their advise willingly and patiently.Its is important to do that whenever we can.
"Pay it forward" is the term I am trying to think of.
I take lots of pictures of my gardens and plans and share them because thats how I learned.

Jo, we love everything about sharing when it comes to flowers. It's a universal language.

Another old friend of mine had Tansey. All these years and I never knew it till this spring. I just happened to see it. She didn't know the name, but remembers her paternal grandmother gathering stems to lay on the headstones with other flowers.

I have wanted Tansey for a long long time. I will treasure the plant and the memory that goes with it. It's all written down in my plant journal, as are other stories of the plants people give me.

Tansey has medecinal properties.Its also mentioned in Shakespear.
It has a meaning along with other plants.
I'll look it up 'cause I'm cureous.

Took some doing but Tansey means Eternal Life. No wonder its popular in funerals.

Jo, Tansy is one to be careful with, but was used for worming.
