Starting the show with 'American Journey', my favorite of the American series, and one of my all time favorite Lilies. It's so truly red, I just moved it to the bed of salsa colors this spring, and I believe I'm going to be happy with it there :-)

Thanks for the new thread, Neal. I'm trying to keep up, but they are going so fast.

Love American Journey. Is that a good sniffer?

This pic shows the variegated grass behind it that I'm loving so much as a companion. Polly, remember sending me that grass?

Yes, it is nicely fragrant. Not as strong as some, but very nice. A big, flat bloom too, more like an Oriental than a lot of OTs in that respect.

Finally, in its 6th year in my garden, American West is looking like it should! I rarely pay $10 for a single bulb, but fell in love with this one and had to have it, but 1 was all Mr. Cheap here would go for. Wouldn't you know it had 1 bloom the first year, and my dog broke it off. The 2nd year it had a couple, the 3rd year the whole stem got broken, and something messed it up each year till now.

You can get a better idea of the size of the inflorescence in this one. Its between 6.5-7' tall.

Its arching and unstaked, so I was holding it up, but on its own I could get the whole thing in the pic.

'Montego Bay' in its 2nd year. They're between 5-6' tall this year.

I've been mostly out of the garden since the last week of May when we went on vacation, then got home to start a really busy wedding season. So the last couple of days have involved pulling and digging out some BIG weeds! It smells so nice everywhere in the yard, made the weeding quite enjoyable.

'Shocking' produced lots of blooms, especially considering its in quite a bit of shade. They do fall over if not staked in the shade though.

A collection of yellow and white OTs from Faraway Flowers. I know 'Veranda' and 'Hacienda' are among them, and can't recall the 3rd right now. They're huge, amazing, and sooooo fragrant! The tallest has got to be over 7'. We had a huge storm roll in a few days ago, and I just knew some were going to break, but somehow they weathered the storm. The tall one was leaning out into the path, and I stood it back up, hoping it would stay long enough to get a pic. It's still standing! There is some serious toughness in some of these OTs!

edited to add: the white one is 'Hacienda', the yellows are 'Tarragonna' and 'Veranda'

I kinda have a "thang" for yellow OTs, LOL. So many are that soft, lemon aid to butter yellow I love.

'Conca d'Or' is wonderful- frangrant, sturdy, and huge.

This one came from Ednie last year, not sure of the name at the moment. Big blooms and not too tall, and an extra rich yellow among OTs.

edited to add, I remembered the name! Its 'Belladonna'

Some from Faraway in front of Conca d'Or. They have a distinctive bowl shape and white margins.

I want more white OTs- nice durability in a white Lily.

'Boogie Woogie'. Its been extra hot through June here, so no pink showing, but I think its so lovely either way. The shape and subtlety of it is so lovely to me.

And now for some pinks! Here is a major favorite of mine among pink OTs, 'Robina'
