I recently received several different oriental lily bulbs in a trade that was supposed to have taken place this past Spring. I am wondering if there is a problem planting these bulbs now. I think my only other option would be to pot them up and try to delay the cooling process and then planting them out in the Spring.

Your thoughts?

Carolyn,

Most of us are just now buying our lily bulbs for fall planting. I prefer fall planting for the lilies. Just as it's more convenient for me, but my fall planted lilies have always done well.
