I bought some irises this year, but can't find any photos...does anyone have a photo of:
Copperopolis, Go Get Yore Camera, Gossett's Gamble, or Watchable? I'd love to know what will be blooming in my garden!

Hello Djinnevada, and welcome to the iris forum. I do not grow those irises but I did find descriptions of all but one on the wiki site. The three I found described are going to be just beautiful when they bloom. I cannot find Gossett's Gamble mentioned either there or on the database here. Perhaps another member grows them and will have a photo to post.

Welcome!
Good for you! You can be the first to enter the pictures in the database next spring. A couple of those are Burseen's, and it's hard finding pictures of his Iris. Smiling Gossett's Gamble is not even on the AIS site. Do you know the hybridizer?

Just wondering if you checked different spellings? Maybe try taking out one of the s's, or one of the t's, maybe exchange an "e" for an "a". I know I had an issue finding an Iris in the database because of the different spelling.

You lucky duck. I am waiting for Go Get Yore Camera to come down in price, so I know I have never been able to find a picture of it. I love Burseen's iris but he has many that there are no pictures for.

I wonder if he would give permission for the database monitors to add his photos of his irises to the ATP database. He seems like a really nice person and I'll bet he would not mind. Especially since he is working on a way to make buying his irises easier for us.

Bonnie, do you have inside information on Burseen that I need to know? Drooling Please volunteer me to go take pictures of all his iris for him next spring. It would be an honor, no, an ATP duty, to get his iris out there to the masses. (I promise I will not sneak back and dig them all up!!! Whistling )

I just added 'Terra Firma' to the database. Not the best picture, but it's something.

I heard from the nice folks at Superstition who told me that 'Gossett's Gamble' is probably a 2015 introduction from So. California hybridizer, Cheryl Deaton. It may be too early to be on the AIS site. I found a picture of it in Region 14's newsletter. http://region15ais.org/newslet... It's all the way on page 31. Nice space ager.

Wow! Thank you all for answering! Unfortunately the hybridizer's were not listed with the iris, so that was an additional stumbling block. I know some were from the Region 14 iris group (so Gossett's Gamble is probably one of Deaton's), so I may try and contact them to see if they can help with the photos...I'm just so excited I don't want to wait until they bloom to see them!

Nope, it was at Mt. Pleasant Iris Farm (http://www.mtpleasantiris.com/), one of the display gardens for the AIS convention last spring.

Welcome Darcy.
Hope you find all the pictures you need or want and that you plant more irises than you need or want to prove you are somewhat obsessed [addicted?] as the rest of us are. When yours bloom you can add photos to the blogs and the database.
