I just threw seeds out. It worked! Nice pic, Jay!

I would feel more optimistic about a bright future for man if he spent less time proving that he can outwit Nature and more time tasting her sweetness and respecting her seniority. E. B.White

That sounds about right to me! I hear they can get taller, but mine are out on the property in a dry caliche and rock area, so they won't get very tall.

Could someone post a photo of the foliage of the bush sunflower please? I have a volunteer in the garlic bed that resembles this bloom so I'm curious.

Thank you for that link. I will wait till daylight to look at my plant again but I believe from the foliage photo that is the volunteer I have. Glad I didn't uproot it. Kristi

One site I really love is the Image Archive of Central Texas Plants, especially since I live in that a central Texas area.
