Mine never came back, but if I remember correctly mine was about 12" high

That sounds about right to me! I hear they can get taller, but mine are out on the property in a dry caliche and rock area, so they won't get very tall.

Could someone post a photo of the foliage of the bush sunflower please? I have a volunteer in the garlic bed that resembles this bloom so I'm curious.
