Yeah, I like blue flowers, too. Which is probably one of the reasons these little nasties are still around. But they really are vicious little burrs and VERY sharp pointies. NOT fun to encounter in my doggies' fur...OR in the carpet!

Props to the database, tho. I wasn't 100% sure of that ID till I saw that photo in our database. Much more definitive than the ones on the county website.

I looked online and most images are green leaves and pretty flowers - your images show the other side of this plants personality. And maybe you could add the info from the expert in a comment on the database page.

Yes, I was planning on adding some additional photos to the database. And I think I will include that information from the county agent to the comments.

Oh--I think you should add the comment to the database--
me for example--I would read it and appreciate if I came to this plant in the database, but I'm not likely to look for it or ever see it in a thread ( well except this one because I've already been here--in general I mean)

I agree, please add the comment to the database. So many people will not click on the link to read through this thread. Having the comment directly below the photos will be very helpful.
