I took one of my Arabicums and sliced off the whole root system. Then applied some wood glue to bottom of cut end. Let it dry and then placed it in a pot on top of a small plastic disc. Filled with more soil and watered in lightly.
This is a trial to see if I can get the perimeter of caudex edge to produce roots all the way around?

So far it is looking promising.
Not going to tug at it yet to see whether there are a lot of roots. Will let it grow longer.
