This is my official first lily of the season. Started this one indoors because I was worried, as it had sprouted, that some nasty temps might get the best of it and I couldn't chance it. She's a beauty. Chris North sure did amazing work.

The form and color are just great. You couldn't paint a nicer picture with a brush.

Oh you lucky duck, mags. Not a sign of buds around here. Love those North lilies!

How beautiful! Mine are only up a few inches, so it will be awhile for me. Maybe next year I will start one inside, just to do it.

Love the pretty soft colors on Hannah North!

After the terrible spring we have had, I am glad to have chosen to do it that way. I may have lost it otherwise. And having a real exciting early bloomer is nice too. Those lankongense hybrids often sport such small bulbs but do really pack a punch with buds, 7 on Hannah. You'd never expect that many from a small bulb. How cool is that?

Is the pollen really that dark?

Very handsome!

Not really that dark, dark orange. The depth of color may differ because of the time of the shot. The pollen had just begun showing up. I'll have to get another shot tomorrow. Hopefully I can capture that.
