Hello Everyone I am new to this group and kind of new to having houseplants. I have tried to grow them before with no luck but thanks to a day of yard sales I am trying again. I went to a yard sale and the person having it had a pot with spider plants in it and I was looking at it. After talking to her for a bit she talked me into trying again and I came home with a lot of plants. Some I know what they are and some I don't so I started looking up the care on the ones I know and found this forum. I am hoping this forum will help me keep the plants I was given alive and healthy.
Thank you for your time

Welcome! Fmwynd You have come to the right place. Everyone here have helped me a lot

I have been a houseplant lover and grower since I could walk. My Mom had me helping her care for the houseplants so I thought I knew what I was doing. I was wrong. Even experienced growers kill a plant or two or thousands. Rolling on the floor laughing Everyone here have helped me many times keeping plants alive.

Welcome! My piece of advice is to watch how you water, I have over 50 houseplants now and I treat each one differently. You have come to a good forum with alot of educated people, the only bad question is the one you dont ask, so ask ahead Big Grin thats how I learned and I killed many along the way. If you can post pics we can help you id some for you. Good Luck
