Hello Everyone I am new to this group and kind of new to having houseplants. I have tried to grow them before with no luck but thanks to a day of yard sales I am trying again. I went to a yard sale and the person having it had a pot with spider plants in it and I was looking at it. After talking to her for a bit she talked me into trying again and I came home with a lot of plants. Some I know what they are and some I don't so I started looking up the care on the ones I know and found this forum. I am hoping this forum will help me keep the plants I was given alive and healthy.

Fmwynd You have come to the right place. Everyone here have helped me a lot

I have been a houseplant lover and grower since I could walk. My Mom had me helping her care for the houseplants so I thought I knew what I was doing. I was wrong. Even experienced growers kill a plant or two or thousands. Everyone here have helped me many times keeping plants alive.

My piece of advice is to watch how you water, I have over 50 houseplants now and I treat each one differently. You have come to a good forum with alot of educated people, the only bad question is the one you dont ask, so ask ahead thats how I learned and I killed many along the way. If you can post pics we can help you id some for you. Good Luck
