Today I was at a local garden shop and notice they had their lilies at 50% off. (Getting late in the season) I have purchased from them before with good results. I purchased a few I didn't have and there was one that I got that is called "Oriental/Asiatic Hybrid Lily" FIRST CROWN. I have a lot of different ones but none called Oriental/Asiatic. Has anyone else purchase this classification?

I do have that one, and it is lovely. It is highly scented, but the coloring would be unusual for an Oriental. It gets about 4' tall. I also have Orania and Sunny Crown, which are said to be Oriental X Asiatic.

Yes there are. I have some lilies and I just love them. I've always bought from Bert Leek, but I would love to have additional sources. Did you ever find any good sources?

I pretty much only buy from the growers. Although I do buy from Ednie for sales in my nursery.

Faraway Flowers gets very good reviews, and the owner is a cubit member. I have never purchased from her, but would not hesitate to.

The Lily Garden, in my opinion, is excellent. I've purchased many years from them, never any problems.
