Three threads from that one and they came first. Hetty, Jennifer (jvdubb), and I apparently saw them at about the same time and each of us hit one to signal Dave. Nice there are so many of us helping keep the site clean of junk.

Oh, my. I had no idea that power existed. I guess I never ran into any objectionable threads in the forums I moderate. I did run into them in Cubits, but not here.

zuzu, if you open any thread in any forum that you moderate, there is a "manage" option. If you click that there are options to edit, split, or delete the thread. Fortunately, the need doesn't arise often. I checked the 2 forums that I moderate, and there are no spam posts there.

The main thing, though, is to ban the member. It appears that someone may join under one name, which may be banned, and then join under another name or two to do the same thing. I guess the IPS address has to be denied access.

Well after working in the garden today I am BUSHED!

If he shows up again as drug dealer I may be tempted to order 10 of each
After that episode, I'm pretty sure I will some fake documents of some sort so they won't find me

I'm confused as to what this poster's point is? Obviously not getting any money out of anyone, but I did notice some links in his post, so thinking that clicking on those links (out of curiosity?) could introduce a computer virus of sort? I heard a while back of a virus that allows other person to view anything on your computer (ID theft), but not sure if that is true or not.

For various reasons, I have had intermitten internet access the past couple days and didn't get a chance to get on ATP until this morning. I banned and blocked the spamers and hopefully we won't see them again. My internet still won't be reliable for a few more days but I'll pop in when I can.

I realize it is a hastle for Dave and I do appreciate all he does.
