I purchased this lily as Pearl Jennifer. I don't think it is, but maybe is another one in the Pearl series? It's slightly downfacing, just under 3' (but it's only it's first year), and definitely has the substance that it could be a tet.

I don't expect anyone to identify it, unless maybe it is one of the other Pearls. I love it anyway, but just thought maybe someone would know. Or maybe Pearl Jennifer has a lot of variation? This has quite a bit of orange, especially around the edges.

I understand each in the Pearl Series to be clones. That lily has much different form than what I have in my garden and what I have seen pictured.

The Pearls I received from Faraway Flowers have been true to name. There was a bit of confusion over them and when the Dutch got a hold of them some of the names were rearranged/changed. I think there was one that Ramona corrected in her listings, based on information obtained directly from the hybridizer himself.

Can I ask your source for this bulb? If it is reputable, it should be replaced. But I have seen some in the Pearl Series listed in various places this year. Just curious.

I received it from the PNWLS lily sales. I wouldn't ask for it to be replaced anyway, even if it came directly from a nursery. I think it's a lovely lily. I was just wondering if it might be in the Pearl series.

As far as form goes, I set it on a table for the picture. I was just interested in the color.

No biggie. Thanks Tracey.

Well if it came from the PNWLS then I would say it probably is a MAK lily. Remember they are packed by a crew of volunteers Smiling .

I like it, especially the darker edges! Pearl Jennifer in my garden last year. The spots are a red brown color.

Thanks, Pard. I'll look at the MAK site and see if anything looks familiar. But really, I'm not bothered a bit. I realize they are volunteers that pack at PNWLS. Even if they weren't....I'm too old to get upset over a wrong lily, LOL. I'll just pull the tag and call it pretty.

These things don't bother me either. I've received many nice surprises over the years and only one or two I really didn't care for.

Me too, and if for some reason I don't like it, it seems my gardening buddy loves it. But she's a nut anyway.

Hmm, looks the same as Pards. :)

Well, I guess I will just have to reorder it. So pretty!
