I purchased a few Hartle-Gilman lilies from FF last fall. Buffy, Cupid's Gift, Sally, My Jo Ann, Chocolate Canary, Indian Brave and Red Rooster. So far, Cupid's Gift bloomed and it is true to name. This one is suppose to be Chocolate Canary. The flower does not recurve and it has white back.

I ordered Chocolate Canary a couple of years ago and received what appears to be Sally (I didn't order Sally).

I have no idea what you have there. The face looks alot like their Golden Flash but the description of the reverse doesn't seem to match your photo.

Connie, the second blossom did recurve but still too dark of an orange to be Chocolate Canary.

I agree, the one you have is not Chocolate Canary.

It does look like Susan's Plum Peach.

Out of topic: I got your S-10 (PYGE) x Flugelhorn cross from NALS. I saw it in my seed bin while looking for seeds to send to a friend.

S-10 is a beautiful trumpet I grew from seed I got from David Sims who used to sell seeds through his website. That is supposed to be PYGW, meaning pink, yellow, green, white. I hope the seeds grow well for you!

It is nice to know that S-10 is a David Sims lily. Thanks for the info and will surely post pics here.

I love cubits. All of the people here are friendly and helpful. I am glad I found this forum. I think it was you who posted a link at the yahoo lilium group. It was about a lily
grown from seeds if I remember it right.
