Last fall I ordered SEVERAL of these bulbs because I thought I was ordering Grand Cru... they've started blooming but I really dont beleive it is what I ordered. The reason I ordered so many was I found the yellow & red splotches very nice, but these blooms have orange mixed with ALOT of dark on them. They are pretty, just dont think that its ID is correct.
Grand Cru is supposed to have more of a red splotch in the middle it looks like in most pics I've seen.
Thanks in advance.

I'll stick my neck out and say Forever Susan. As far as I know there aren't any others quite like this one.

Ayrica, did you perchance order it in a co-op? If so, I'm going to suggest it's Starlette, which is turning out to be surprisingly like Forever Susan.

Most of the co-ops get their bulbs from Ednie, and I looked on Ednies site, and that one looks quite similar.

It's a beautiful flower. But it's not what you wanted, or ordered.
