Well, it is the first of August so I needed to start this new thread. Honestly, I don't know how long the daylilies will continue to bloom but for now, the back beds look really great. I wanted to start the show by taking general shots of the backyard daylily area.

Absolutely beautiful! I love these garden shots, and Rita your garden(s) are sooooooo fantastic!

Well then you will like todays pictures of more garden shots with some closeps.

We have had some nicer weather here and I have been a very busy bee weeding and muching some areas of the garden. The front yard looks much better with the mulching done. It really needed it so I piled on the straw which is what I usually use for summer mulch around here. Pictures of the front yard daylily row areas and some closeups of the daylilies. Then there are two pictures of the Portulacas at the terraces garden to finish up for today.

Wow, you are really a fast worker. It is a shame I was not able to post my blooms in the earlier thread when I was having the slow loading issues and we were still at Cubits. Of course that thread moved over here but it only had the links to the pictures over at Gardenweb. Can you follow the threads and lift the pictures from Gardenweb? If you can (and want too) you are welcome to add those pictures to the database also.

Just to be clear you can use any pictures I posted on any of the forums here or at cubits or even gardenweb. Too much work for me to even think of doing it. But you sure are an angel for taking this job on. Thank you

Already on it! I went directly over there because I remembered you said you had posted over there. I would eventually love to add the rose blooms too! And since you are hosting them all on Photobucket, I already followed that link from GW and you have the images labeled when I copy them so I can tell which ones they are.

Some of the labels aren't that all fire descriptive. But if it is a bloom closep it usually saiz what the bloom is. Otherwise I could never find what I wanted when I have to lift them directly from the computer to post here and at Daves. But sounds like you know what you are doing. If you are looking at Gardenweb directly you are really going to be at this a long time. I have a daylily post every day going back to June 15th and multiple posts on some peak bloom days. Plus I am still posting each day and will continue as long as there is bloom.

No sorry. It is an unregistered Goldner. Never in the AHS database. Wait until my Olallie intros start blooming. Most are are not AHS registered.
