When I was a little girl about the age you are in the picture and we would go to my grandma's house, I would take a bath in one of those tubs

I still have two of them. My girls, and granbabies all played in them as a mini swimming pool when they were babies

Nowadays I wash my produce in those kinds of tubs.

I've got an old tub...not like that one though...we use it as a "poor man's pool" on really hot days:

yup...it works great! filled with cold, cold water right outa the well...a 10 minute sitting will cool us off for hours!

Well water here too! I feel sorry for folks in the city. They can run it forever and it never gets cold.

Hah! My neighbor has an old clawfoot tub in his back yard, just for that purpose.

I've gone over there several times to find him sitting in it, passed out/sound asleep, relaxed as far as someone could get.

I should find one, too. No way I'll fit in the little tub anymore!
