Uh, Dave, please disregard the post below. I just realize I have been clicking on the "Forums" TAB to take me back to my "HOME" page (as I am so accustomed to doing on another gardening website), instead of clicking on the "All Things Plants" LOGO to take me back to my customize-able HOME page....

Can we just get a HOME tab, please?

I kept trying to figure out why there was so much showing on my home page that I didn't put there, when I realized, "it's the general website homepage and not one I put together for myself!"

I know you've got your hands full with making icons for all fifty states and all the countries on the planet, plus ones for people from Mars and Venus, so this is just a little bug in your ear -- like you need another bug in your ear, huh?

Can we get customize-able home pages at some point, hug, please?

We kinda already do....click on the All Things Plants logo and that is your Home page showing only the forums you have on your personal watch list.

I remembered about the logo thingy AFTER I posted what appears below the line. I'm asking Dave for a tab that says HOME.

Anyone new (or who forgets) wouldn't know (or remember) that the logo takes you back to your HOME page -- there's no indication that it does anything, unless you'd accidentally clicked on it.

Which is why I'm asking for that feature to be put on a tab labeled "HOME" on the tabs line. That way, we know the way HOME, 'cause it's right there...

We're going to run out of room on the tabs because of all the great features coming up.

Click on "All Things Plants Homepage" which is the first link in the footer of every page.

Oh, goodness! I had no idea that a homepage even existed until now. I was thinking that the site was difficult to use because I didn't have a place to see updated threads. I had no idea that I had to click on the logo (that thought never crossed my mind). This makes things so much easier. Now I need to change my bookmark.

I can see where someone new to the site wouldn't know to click there.

Be friends with "All-Things Plants" on FB where I keep everyone up to date on all of the tricks of using the site :)

Val- did you also know that you can "watch" certain forums? That keeps your home page looking nice and tidy! Dave is only subscribed to 11 or so, so his home page shows his latest tree-mails, his subscribed threads, his 11 forums, and the latest articles. My list is a bit longer, but I simply click on the "forums" tab when I want to see more that isn't on my watched list!

You can click on site logos to take you to home pages on most sites. Try it!
