When I mentioned clicking on the ATP logo to my Daylily forum members, quite a few people had no idea that worked. They didn't realize they had a home page.

Trish has mentioned that members should go to Facebook for tips and tricks on using ATP. I do not understand this at all. I don't use Facebook. Is it really a good idea to have to go to Facebook to find out about ATP? I'm just saying' Whistling

If a person does not know to click the logo, etc. how would they know to go to Facebook? What about people like me, who really do not want a Facebook account just to get tips on using ATP?

I think that info should also be here, in the Site Forum, or in a user guide etc. Anyone else feel that way too?

Pretty cool! Great idea.

I think nearly every website I visit uses this feature. I'm surprised others weren't aware of it. Now they have the education to use it not just here but everywhere, eh?

See? ATP, "The Learning Center". :>)

This is just a temporary box to let everyone know that they can do this. At some point in the future Trish will be bringing us a schedule of "how to use the site tips" but for now, I wanted to get this up there so everyone can learn about the logo clicking concept.

Oh, good. I really didn't want to have to try to figure out Facebook again! I could learn Photoshop, but Facebook eludes me! *Blush*

Pegi, maybe you can find the tips on using ATP on Facebook, come back here, and tell those of us who don't use FB!

Juli- I'm not posting anything different on FB that is not already on the site.

You aren't missing out on anything. Smiling

When a new feature happens, I post on FB. The information is here in the site talk forum, and also in the newsletter.

I sometimes do the random tip on FB, and that is here too.

No worries Lovey dubby

Oh, good. I really appreciate that you told me this! I imagined some great site talk going on over there!

Something about FB I just could not get the hang of, and so I got paranoid that I would give away personal info. I want to cancel my page, but don't know how. Someone told me I could start a business page, then not worry about private info. The whole site confuses me. When I did try to contact a couple people, their pages seemed to only consist of Farmville posts or some kind of game thing. Looked like they were addicted.

Hilarious! I have fun on Facebook, but I check the security settings at least once a week to make sure they haven't changed anything. I keep up with my family there (most of them live in Ohio), and have enjoyed reconnecting with some old friends. One of my high school friends is giving my daughter piano lessons over Skype because of Facebook. It isn't all bad, as long as you're careful. Smiling It does take time to learn where all the settings are, though (including the ones to turn off the posts about all of the games!)
