Charleen, I've got a fragrant bloom stalk on the Tuberoses you sent me too! At night the whole area around it smells wonderful! There's a 2nd bloom stalk arising from the pot too

Polly, I've been overwintering Callas in the ground for about 7 years now, both some Z.aethiopica (large white Calla) and Z. rehmannii hybrids (the colorful hybrids). I know of a zone 5 gardener with a protected courtyard who has been growing them in the ground without lifting for over 5 years. I've tried Z.albomaculata in the ground too, but they didn't return, so I'm guessing they're not as hardy.
