Can you give us an idea of where you live? You don't have to list the exact city but the state would be helpful and also is this tree/shrub in bloom now or was the photo from earlier in the year? This is just a guess but it reminds me of Tea Olive (Osmanthus fragrans)

Look at Osmanthus fragrans - Sweet Olive. Scientific name: Osmanthus fragrans .
I think the one with orange color flowers has a stronger scent.
