Plant ID forum: A plant that produce Shell like hard stone fruit. Anybody knows? (From Pakista

It grows in my relatives house. It produce greenish fruit which upon drying gives hard shell like fruits with exactly same color shown in the picture. The plant shown in picture is a very young plant. If anybody knows do tell. Thanks

It's a grass sometimes called Job's Tears or Adlay.

Here it is in our database.

I buy Job's Tears/Adlay tea in the Korean grocery store. Here is a link for someone selling it on Amazon so you can see the package - it's a metal can.
