I can't blame you Linda. Too bad it isn't really as easy as quitting.

Those little blood suckers get sucked in the house by suction when you open the door. What I want to know is how did they ever figure that one out????

Back in the garden at 6 this morning. I did not quit for long.

They are calling for a high of 86F. There is a 60% chance of a trace of rain tomorrow. At this point, they are calling for 101F next Saturday. I think I'll scream.

The rain has stopped for now but it is nasty as the wind is really blowing and it is chilly, chilly, chilly and oh so damp.

I want it to dry out some so Lily and I can take our exercise walk as we did not do one yesterday. Couldn't as the rain never let up.

It rained here most of yesterday and we had more last night, it felt so cold yesterday I had to turn up the heat, that doesn't happen very often that I feel cold, I think it's because my body is still on summer time. Today is mostly sunny and a cool 39f degrees.

Ann, the wind is a bit "brisk" today, still only 48f degrees.

They are calling for a high of 69F. That is hard to believe. We got a trace of rain this morning and we're supposed to get another trace later.

It has warmed up some to 40's during the day and 30' at night. We ran a week or so with 40's during the day but 20's at night. Everything is frozen so we cut down 12 large contractors' bags of detritus. Need to get my dahlias dug today.

It was 30f here overnight, nice and sunny so it's all the way up to 36f now....

Only 88 here so far this afternoon with big beautiful clouds floating around.

All the way up to 55f here now, it is nice outside in the sun.

nobody in South or North Carolina being flooded, I hope?!
