Zagora pouts when moved but the next year really starts increasing. A clump blooms like crazy. Unique look. Off spring tend to look similar. Pollen fertile, pod difficult.

Makes a clump really fast. The scapes do tend to be flimsy and need staked sometimes, I guess not if you don't mind them sprawling around a little bit. The bright color stands out from a distance which is really nice and it blooms well above the foliage.

It does make a nice clump very quickly!

I started with a nice piece of this plant late last season, and by late spring of this year you'd never have guessed it was a new plant. Mine were planted out with just a shovelful of compost, grew strongly upright scapes in full all-day sun, and during this good rainfall year required no additional fertilizer and very little care from me. Lots of blooms that hold their color well...great landscape plant!
