But Sue, don't you feel a little tug of temptation to look? Or is having a strong will a requirement of being a Moderator? Whistling

I wish I could be that restrained.

I did an inventory this morning and came up with 233 new named varieties this year. That includes a few beardless... maybe 10. I've had 4 die (cue taps). If I can't get water on more of the recent transplants soon, that number may grow. Sad I've got 2 hoses going right now, and if I kept them going all day, they'd drain the tank. It's taking about 2 days + to refill the tank now as the creek is nearly dry.
Have you got the tutu on Rob? I might have to get one as well to increase the odds of the tutu rain magic. I'd even add fairy wings if it would help. As long as I'm going that far, a tiara and wand would be good too.

Does anyone grow "White Tutu"? Maybe if it is spread around Rob would not have so much work to do.

Considering my losses during the move many of my recent acquisitions do not count! That number is 147, a few were direct replacements for the losses, most just took the space of ones that did not make it and some were just new and put into the new beds. Last year was only 95, but 11 of those were lost in the move. Less lawn tonight than there was this morning, edges of the yard keep growing to fit more "non-grass."

Might be close to the limit, unless the new fence has some yard edges with grass once it is installed.

Last one until 2033 and we are socked in with clouds! Sad I so hoped to see it. Maybe I should dance in the rain to encourage it to move westward....

Same thing here, Leslie -- very disappointing. The past three nights the sky has been clear and the moon has been SO bright. But no moon tonight.................... Sad

Hi DDD. Dunno if anyone has had a divorce over iris, but I knew a man whose wife divorced him for listening to Dylan non-stop. I used slopping raspberry soda pop all over the house and in the VCR as grounds for a divorce. I suppose anything is possible.

Well, with all the irises I have added this year from my 'wish list' I am down to eight pages. True I may add a few more but I have made great inroads in filling my beds with irises I either wanted 'new to me' or replacements of old favorites. Half of my wish list has been fulfilled by generous ATP irisarians. I tip my hat to you. to you. smiles

If the cloud cover that we've been experiencing since last evening remains -- then I'll miss the eclipse just like I missed the Blood Moon. Angry

I agree and I noticed 6 daylilies in the most popular pictures, and not one iris! All of those nice pictures posted by Kent and others and not one got enough thumbs to be recognized. I wonder why that is? Confused

Final tally stand at 80. This from someone who wasn't going to add ANY new ones this year....
