Transfer and store your fertilizer in coffee cans. The fertilizer stays dry and the cans are easy to tote wherever needed to feed plants. For convenience and safety, label the contents of the container!

Does it present any explosion/fire hazard to store large bags of dry fertilizer in those Home Depot buckets with lids ? My husband hates the smell in the garage and we'd like to see if we can reduce that, but don't want to do anything that could cause a fire or explosion.

My passion is painting but gardening is running a close second.
no idea. I pour the fert. into the coffee cans and the lids would not seal as tightly. I keep them in my potting shed which is open on 3 sides so I don't get the build up of smell. would not want to have a fire hazzard
