Not enough photos + comments to qualify more than 10, I suppose. Start adding more comments to your favorites if you want a top 25. Smiling

I was wondering how the favorites were compiled, is it strictly by the number of members who own it? Does the number of members who want that variety influence the ranking? I don't have any named varieties of dahlia yet, can't even find the package to get the name of the single type I have now (yes, I'll admit to disorganized) so I won't be adding to the dahlia database this year! So if a variety is owned by 30 members but only has a few photos and comments and another variety is owned by 20 and has 8 members who want it and has lots of pictures and comments which is considered more popular? This might be already out there but I haven't found it yet, I'm interested in the process!

I'm not sure of the exact formula, but I don't think member ownership has anything to do with it because the "top 25" lists were already being compiled when personal plant lists were still in their infancy. I think the entry for the plant has to have photos by more than one person and at least one comment.
