Here's the Dahlia in full regalia. Thanks to all comments made, and acorn/thumbs up inspirations. Thanks to "Dahlia Week" I have just identified this plant. It is Dahlia Mick's Peppermint. It now is in its rightful category and no longer a mystery un-named.
