Any thoughts on which Croton this is? We have several thousand listed but I didn't see any clear pictures of anything exactly like this one. I have to admit, to my aging eyes, they all started to look alike after a few pages.

It's a Codiaeum variegatum: Croton (Codiaeum variegatum) but I'm not sure which one. Possibly one of these:

I've looked at Mamey but mine does not have the ruffled leaves nor is it like the second photo, that one does not have the broader base to the leaves.

Irene Kingsley, Norwood Beauty and Afrika all sort of look alike. It might be one of them.

There are so many Codiaeum hybrids on the market nowadays, it's difficult to tell which cultivar it might be. This company has lots listed but with my old eyes, it's hard to tell because the photos aren't very large: http://www.mercerbotanicals.co...

I wonder if your plant would be considered a semi-oak leaf? I found this list, some with photos for comparison: http://www.palmpedia.net/wiki/...

Found photos here too but they don't enlarge either: http://www.burnettsnursery.com...

Yes, I found images for those three here: http://www.itfgs.org/index.php...[group]/1/

My eyes are really not good for comparing photos and there are so many hybrid Codiaeums on the market nowadays, it's really hard to be sure. I think your plant mostly resembles
Irene Kingsley: http://www.palmpedia.net/wiki/... but
Norwood Beauty: http://www.palmpedia.net/wiki/... comes close too.

If you can't be sure of the exact cultivar you can upload photos to the general database entry for Codiaeum, here: Crotons (Codiaeum)

Thank you, I haven't gotten through all of them but the Palmpedia photos are excellent and so far, Colonel Lindberg is close but I'll search further. Semi Oak Leaf, a huge Thank You. I need the name as I am using a photo in an article and I wanted to be as accurate as possible.

LOL, I saw that heading for the leaf shape of semi oak leaf and that's kinda what your leaf photos reminded me of.

Good luck in finding the exact cultivar. Maybe you could contact the nursery where you purchased the plant and ask if they could help with an exact name/cultivar?
