We have armadillos come through our yard. They are usually rooting for bugs and generally leave my plants alone. I guess I have enough bugs in the lawn to keep them happy! Hilarious!

My Armadillo is harmless. In fact, he was once worn on the head!

Rene: I see Armadillo's on occasion digging in my yard. I was told years ago that they dig burrows to stay out of the sun but if they are digging up your plants/lawn they are probably after grubs. Find something to kill the grubs, and the Armadillo's will find someplace else to dine. http://www.wildlife.pro/diggin...

This guy/gal was digging in my backyard. They are so ugly they're cute ... or maybe this is a face only a mama could love?

They look like they can't move very fast but they do run pretty good and usually do when approached. This one was a bit slow and I was surprised I could walk right behind him taking his picture! Bye Bye ...

Oh, I forgot to say ... we have a problem with SNAKES sometimes! It's so sad when they get into the birdhouses and eat the baby birds in spring time. This past spring someone on one of the forums told me to try Snake Away so I went to Home Depot immediately and bought it ... worked like a charm, no more snake sightings! So, maybe the Armadillo stuff is worth a try?

I think they were digging after my earthworms & I don't want to kill them. Tried a repellant from Lowes & they ignored it totally. Bought some rolls of short fencing & put around the edges of the beds, seems to have stopped them!!!
