thanks! One of my boating friends wanted to know how many plants were on my 'bench'...I told her it was a bit like counting boats in a busy harbor...they come...they go...they move around a lot ..I don't know why it's so hard to keep an accurate inventory..but for me, it's a struggle!

What's really embarrassing is when you do look at your inventory and say "What the heck is that and did I really ever own that one?"

Something like that! Smiling

I took today some more pictures of the Ornithophora radicans, this time Klaus is holding the plant. It has been renamed to Gomesa radicans and Ornithophora or Sigmatostalix are now synonyms.
I am growing this plant since 2004 from a little start up, and it has been steadily adding growth every Summer. The little blooms smell a lot like sweet Dandelions in the sun.
Klaus is standing in the door to the greenhouse.

Very nice, Ursula! Ours is growing just fine but no blooms this year.

I am patiently waiting for my Vandas to bloom. Lots of buds.

I picked up a couple of LED lights to put on the East side of the GH this winter. I don't want my winter growers to stall from lack of daytime light. I only leave them on during the day because the pink glow is kind of creepy in the dark. The last thing I need is a GH raid. I have heard horror stories of cops raiding and destroying expensive orchids.

I don't try to hide my GH at all and I talk openly on FB about my growing efforts. If I get a visit, I am glad to give them a tour.
