Gum Balls Can Be Your Friend!

I've been told all my life, you have to use what the good Lord gives you! Well, in the summer I get the shade from the gum tree, but in the winter months I get those dreaded gum balls everywhere. I decided there had to be something I could do with them.

My mother-in-law has a hazelnut tree and gets plenty of these. What great uses for them! Thank You!

Niki, I think the spiky gum balls that Suga is referring to are from American Sweetgum (Liquidambar styraciflua) rather than Hazelnut (Corylus sp.) American Hazelnut (Corylus americana)
