Unusual, a real curiosity. Had I not seen this photo, would never believe anyone's description of a bloom like this.

I love Sarrcacenia/pitcher plants. The flowers and the pitchers are so unique. The four petals that hang down fall off fairly soon after the bloom opens. It's my understanding that those petals keep the plants from being self pollenated.
