Spiral seed heads, possible ornamental grass? in the Plant ID forum

I took this picture back in 2006 and I haven't been able to find or identify what type of plant it is since then. The plant was located in a bed of other ornamental grasses. Maybe it's a weed, but I just love it for the spiral shapes! I know it's not a lot to go on, but can someone please ID this?

It's a variety of Miscanthus sinensis. The older types exhibited this curling, although usually in more unruly manner. Not surprisingly, breeders have been breeding out this trait in favor of the straighter form presented by Miscanthus sacchariflorus.
