In this heat and drought, even the weeds are giving it up. I have signed up for Team No Weed and Team I'll Deal With It Next Year.

I very much hear you! It's really hard to get excited about gardening right now. We have plants dying left and right, and over 15 trees dead around the farm. Dave spent yesterday cleaning up one that fell over our driveway.

Depressing.

Meanwhile, I can daydream about gardening, what will I plant in the fall, what will next year's garden look like, and where's the next bed going to be. Of course, in my daydreams, I have no weeds!!

I hear Yah! I looked at the half of my backyard lawn that looks like hay, and thought, "even the weeds aren't growing !"
