Keep a kitchen timer outside in your garden to remind you to move the hose or go on an errand.

I wear mine clipped onto my shirt.
Otherwise I run a risk of burning down the house with something on the stove...........
And to tell me when it's time to go in.

Me too! I've been doing it out of necessity for years.

Re: the timer photo, I haven't even seen an analog timer for retail sale for years. About 5 years ago, Mom's old Lux timer that I was still using finally conked out, and all I could find was the stupid digital ones.

Sometimes I still use Grandma's wooden one

I have to have a timer to remind me when to move my hoses, but being I always have my modern up to date version of a kitchen timer (my ancient flip phone) in my pocket I use it for a timer by using the alarm function.

I have my phone to set the timer so when out in the yard I don't forget I turned the water on to fill the fish pond. I have killed too many fish from not timing it.

Rick, I love the wooden timer. I love antique anything but that is something I've never seen.

I bought my red timer (the one in the photo) at a WINCO two years ago.
