Perhaps Melochia tomentosa (Teabush)?

(Please keep me in mind for a possible future seed trade, if so. Whistling )

melochia......interesting, certainly looks like that may be it if the pic is magnified...thumbnail sized flowers? Leaves are distinctive and the same...

I've tried to magnify the picture but it's not helping me to see it more clearly. Guess we have to wait until @piksihk can add more photos. Shrug!

I think Danita is on the right track but those leaves don't look tomatoes (wooly). Maybe Melochia pyramidata.

The enlargement wasn't any help for my old eyes but the name M. piramidata led me to photos on the internet which make me think yes,

Can someone with better eyes please look at this link which shows blooms and leaves:

Sorry for the bad photo - even with the bad photo, you ID it! I was visiting LynneHTx and she asked if I knew what it was, but I didn't, so I posted it here. She said it came up by itself (it is growing in a strip between sidewalk and street). I was hoping she would post a better photo.
Thanks, ya'll.
