I never considered myself a good photographer and had sort of left it up to other people for decades. Right before leaving for an overseas adventure this summer I suddenly decided to try once more, BUT I really don't like technology! I went to Best Buy and told the nice young sales guy I needed an idiot proof camera with a zoom. I walked out with a " point and shoot" digital as described in the above article. Didn't do so great on a few videos, but my fault as I hate reading instructions! However I got some very wonderful still shots of African wildlife without the instructions So be brave, give it a go. Next year I hopefully will have some good flower photos to share!
