This plant was given to me by a very kind and generous lady and it was planted back on June 18th 2014, and did not bloom until May 13th 2015. But what a bright bloom it was. This plant was not shown to be rust resistant, and it did develop a fairly severe case of rust late in the season. However, it was not an overpowering show of rust plus this plant did manage to rebloom for me in July 2015 and had an undocumented fair amount of buds, more than most of my other plants. So if this plant had not shown a tendency for rust, it would rank very high on my list. Now to wait a few more years and see if it reacts any differently.
Lots of buds showing.

Larry - That is interesting that your buds look like they will produce yellow blooms even though your database photos show Sparks as an orange color bloom.
