I confess to crossing the bridge with my eyes closed. I also refused to go near the edge at the top of Spruce Knob and absolutely dug in my heels and balked like a mule at the faint suggestion we climb the additional 30 feet tall observation tower. *Blush*

If you are a rock climber, may god have mercy on your soul. And, be comforted...there is help out there for people who do things like this. Hilarious! As for me, I have trouble chewing gum and walking at the same time and have been known to trip over my own feet. Heights are not for me.

Rolling on the floor laughing chewing gum and walking at the same time,..ohhh no not a rock climber,..i was not aware i had a fear of heights,..well VERY high heights,..i visited Blackpool Tower in England and went up in the lift no bother but as soon as i stepped out of the lift i froze and could not speak,..my lady friend at that time had to guide me back into the lift Blinking .

Years later i was invited to help a friend paint a four story house,..i mentioned about my problem with heights,..to this day i don't think he was listening as when i arrived at the house i found a good few friends there,..i was given a tin of paint and a brush and told to head for the top level,..i couldn't mention i had a problem and didn't want to lose face so up the ladder i went humming nervously,..i finished out the week without anyone knowing i was jittery,..though for some time after if sitting on a bar stool and the stool moved i tended to grab the counter,..heights still bother me but i can fight my way through.
